South Korean Mood Board AW20 Print

First off thanks for reading my blog page! 

This is about my research phase and where I’m heading so far looking from a print inspiration stand point. 

I wanted to start by brainstorming which lead me from Son Yi Gen South Korean Actress from watching Crash Landing On You, the character she plays for fashion has both confidence and kindness in her style which are influenced by Chloe, Miu Miu and Gucci to Vivienne Westwood. 

This lead me to look at Son Yi Gens celebrity style and also her more relaxed style. I found reading an article her make up artist uses Jenny House Makeup which further inspired the colour palette of my own designs. 

I also looked in to trends happening in the above fashion designers and involved it alongside South Korean singers style from IU, divinchi, yerin Baek who sang on the Crash landing on you album and then found linked to their profile on Apply iTunes: distinctive singers with their own strong details in fashion and print - Chung ha and Lee hi. Which these have influenced my own research watching their music videos and looking on Pinterest. 

I decided before I do prints I wish to really delve in doing some mood boards to see if any ideas come to mind drawing wise and looking at so far three completed designs, lip stick marks, cross cross coloured patterns, portrait loosely drawn by hand, flowers lightly added. Black and white mindfulness patterns. I think there observing is a lot of plays with how patterns could mix up here in my designs maybe from black and white fading in to colours.
