La Tiffy Moore necessita un pis barat i amb urgència. En Leon Twomey treballa de nit i va curt de diners. Els amics de tots dos pensen que estan bojos, però és la solució ideal: en Leon dorm al llit mentre la Tiffy és a l'oficina durant el dia, i ella disposa de l'apartament durant la resta del temps.
