A ruthless crime family calling themselves the "Fratellis" have somehow escaped from jail and are now hiding in a town of Astoria, Oregon. Home of a secret kid society known as "The Goonies", their leader is Michael "Mikey" Walsh, and they are enjoying their last weekend together as a system of contractors have bought their neighborhood and are considering on transforming it into a golf course. However Mikey, stumbles upon a mysterious map to a treasure of a famed pirate "One-Eyed" Willie. So, The Goonies embark on an adventure to find the treasure and save their neighborhood. However, they also came across the Fratellis. Well, Brandon Walsh did grew up, I realized that when I saw him slapping George Clooney in the face. Oh. My. Gawd! This is my childhood FAVORITE movie. I only found out about this because I saw a recommended clip of Kelly Clarkson talking to Sean Astin. I HAD TO find this. I am so glad I did. How amazing! I am smiling ear to ear. There was a time before disassociated, mean-eyed teenagers, wore hooded tops, carried knives, bothered people on street corners, and passed the time drinking cider and daisy-chaining one another. This was a time when Michael Jackson moon-walked his way into the hearts of millions, Indiana Jones cracked his whip from jungle to desert, James Bond shot and slept his way around the world without a hint of self-mocking post-modern irony, and kids watched, enjoyed, and wanted to be in, The Goonies.

What an incredible gift! Thank you so much everyone. The Goonies" When. This is one of the best movies made! It is enjoyable for everyone, children and adults as well. The acting is great, and the plot is great too. It's a movie you will love, and so will your parents. You will never get tired of it. I have nothing bad to say about this movie. I really hope they make a second one. Sean Astin(Mikey) and Corey Feldman(Mouth) are too cute! D. Only the first two parts were deleted scenes. Oh that explains why the piano notes werent legible lol. Mind blown. I remember going through the sewers with friends when i was a kid after seeing this movie... than we saw a rat that haunted me for weeks inmy dreams hahahahahah nice. thats what kids are :D.

It is hilarious,romantic and a great action movie I mean it has 7 great young adults a.k.a(the goonies)who go on an adventure while following a treasure to try to find a way so they don't have to move out of the Goon Docks. So they go in pursue of finding treasure which would be there way of not there adventure they run into a problem actually 3 the Fratellis's whom own a restaurant above where the treasure is supposedly being of the Goonies Mouth,Stef,andy,brand,mikey,and Data found a secret passage way under the fire place and still went in pursue of the treasure while Chunk went to find the chunk got a ride from the Fratellis's which didn't go to the police, the fratellis's went to go find the other goonies while Chunk then found his new friend Sloth who ended up saving the not realizing it Mikey accidentally took Gems which saved there was a real great adventure movie and i would recommend it to any one who wants to see a great movie. love #1 rtist.
