365 dni movie watch online. 365 dni movie in english. 365 dni book english. 365 dni ost. The most amazing thing about "365 days" is that, despite all of its shortcomings (some of them glaringly obvious) the film still manages to come out on top.
Yes, the film is derivative in places. (But then what did you expect of yet another Fifty Shades movie in 2018? The director borrows heavily from every male and female fantasy, Melville's Le Samourai and Cassavetes' Gloria, especially in the last 30 minutes. But before that it quickly takes a shape all its own. And yes, there are some huge holes in logic but "365 days" must be seen more as a modernist fairy-tale than a gritty thriller in order to makes sense.
Laura and Massimo are foremost anchored by the three (yes, that's right! lead performances, all brilliantly framed by the sexy and stylized direction. All three actors and actresses give highly emotional performances unlike anything you have ever seen before. And despite their characters having opposing agendas or being downright antagonist they all seem to be part of the same family. All of their (re- actions make sense, if judged purely from an emotional POV.
This setup is actually strongly reminiscent of spaghetti westerns but adds sex and it is obvious throughout the film that this was a big influence - from the close-up mug shots to the theme-heavy pop score. The director injects a modern style that is partly influenced by 50 Shades, John Woo and french "cinema du look" creating a hybrid that is totally original.
If you are afraid of nature and sex then you will be afraid of this movie.
I am glad to see that it is ranked so highly on Netflix signalling a silent majority of sexually liberated viewers.
