Qโeswachaka is the last remaining Inca bridge in Peru. Handwoven from grass and spanning 118 feet over a steep canyon, this incredible feat of engineering is truly unmissable!
On either side of a gorge high in the Peruvian Andes, an aging rope bridge sags precariously over the Apurรญmac River.
Last yearโs suspension bridge floats down the river. Previously, communities replaced the bridge once every three years. As tourism has brought more visitors to the area, they have increased the frequency to once a year.
