The movie did totally exceed my expectations. There is a lot of hype surrounding this movie and because of that I didn't expect that TDKR would be as good as it is.
I want to give this a perfect score but I can't. Certain parts dragged and others they rushed. There are a few scenes that could (or should) have been left on the cutting room floor. At one point I thought to myself that the movie must have been going for two hours or so but I was wrong. I was only an hour into it. The movie does pick up steam as goes though.
Christian Bale is an actor who I have always been a fan of however I was a little disappointed in his portrayal of Batman in the first two movies. In this movie he really did sink into the role. And his Bat-voice is not so over the top as it used to be. I always preferred Michael Keaton as Batman before I saw this movie. After seeing TDKR though I like Bale's performance just as much as Keaton's.
Bane's voice wasn't hard for me to understand (though I think there was one line I couldn't follow. Is Hardy's performance better than Heath Ledger's? I would say that they are equal. But the character of Bane was much more compelling than The Joker in my opinion.
Anne Hathaway's Catwoman was great as well.

Bane's coat is 🔥🔥🔥 I gotta get me one of those. Also a perfect concept for a physiological film. Personally I dont have many physical fears but mostly phycological they consist of fear of being out of control of my self for instance drugs that affect you like getting put to sleep or funny enough as it is dreams which is why I like the movie so much and how well they displayed the concept of the fact that you dont know your dreaming that you find yourself in the middle and dont know what came before Im glad this movie exists because its amazing.
Still the best Batman movie.

Key difference between Talia Al Ghul and batman Talia believes them all to be monsters and it's okay for Bane to die with them so she does not throw in the rope. She'd rather he dies with them all. Batman believes he must throw in the rope because there are still few good people down there. Same belief for Gotham, Talia wants to destroy it because it is very corrupt and dirty. Batman wants to save it because there are still few good people.
I sat through 3 hours of this film last night and just could not believe how boring it was, and how it just was not any fun at all. Very little action, lots of brooding and the most boring Batman villain ever. Bane is a third rate Darth Vader, and his voice-over is mixed way too high; plus there is no motivation I could see for what he was doing.
My 14 year old daughter was so bored also that she kept asking me when it was going to be over. I personally think this film is an early leader for this year's Razzies. Worst Picture, Worst Director, Worst Screenplay, Worst Acting, and Worst Editing are some of the potential "honors" that immediately come to mind.
Watching this scene in IMAX was bonkers. The score plus the people chanting, had goosebumps the entire scene. HEY, BATSY. still my favorite Batman. Jack Nicholson's Joker was the best, although I really enjoyed Heath Ledgers. I thought Nicholson was a perfect balance. Is that you Sugar Bumps. Jack: It's me Sugar Bumps. This movie is a classic. I would say its all a dream. Mr. Cobb lives in the dream to escape the guilt for the death of his wife. As you see, everything works out for Mr. Cobb in the end just as he wanted. If you watched this scene in the cinema you know how truly epic and tense this scene is.
