what's up guys the beat that you just heard was created using output virtual instruments there's some of my favorite out there I'm going to quickly break down the beat and show you every single instrument that I used if you guys are interested in purchasing any of these plugins I'll put a link in the description below we start off the song with analogue strings this is a beautiful virtual instrument that gives an electronic sound to strings for this one I use the complete control scale mode which gives you chord sets nice chord progressions with chords that sound really nice together and I created this progression next instrument that comes in is exhale this is one of my favorites from output I've loaded up one of their presets and then I modified it a little bit so these are recorded loops of vocals which they've added effects too already now you can modify them more and you can change the effects as well so you can change the volume pan filter and even add motion and change the pitch and add delay and things like that I'll play you what I've used in this song these are just beautiful sounding a vocal sample you'll hear the drums start to come in here I've lowered the volume of the drums a little bit that's exhale again now you hear something that sounds kind of like a guitar I'm actually using the output instrument a substance at that part now substance is a library of bass sounds but I liked the bass sound so much as a guitar sound so actually just eq'd out the bass frequencies then just left what sounded like a guitar to me isn't that nice so hear it again in the context of the song now over there you actually heard a bass sound from substance come through let's listen to it by itself Wow nice subby bass sound and that's the bass sound that you hear throughout this song now it's building into the chorus all right now what's happening in the chorus well I've got substance playing the bass I still have that little guitar sound in there in the course of the song I'm using exhale and a different loop library and here are the vocal loops that I'm playing alright the next part I've called this like a post chorus part of the song it's where I introduce the vocals but you'll hear a piano sound in there it's like an electric piano sounding sound and I'm using outputs signal for this part of the song the signal is another excellent library by output it's got amazing sounds with movement built-in so in this part I'm just playing chords with this piano sound and here's what the piano sound sounds like by itself and you hear that movement it's like an echo a movement in there it's awesome here's what it sounds like in the context of the song now I'm just kind of playing the same piano sound just not the courts and a little higher notes listen to it in the higher octave so good I'm using signal also in the chorus I forgot to mention that I'm using this preset it's called super chain I want you to watch in the chorus as a modifying the open closed parameter I played a live guitar in the chorus and verse here's the guitar exactly as I recorded it I mean nothing special that's just me playing on the electric guitar but I added an output effect called movement and movement is such a cool effect if your song is missing something rhythmic and you want that rhythmic excitement built into this song this is an excellent effect to have it's a bit on the heavy side but I still really like it it uses a lot of the processor I feel but here's what now that guitar sounds like with the effect in there and not awesome I love that sound and you can add movement to anything you can add it to another virtual instrument has an effect to a virtual instrument or you can even add it on any audio file you have alright the only other thing is I had I use the Native Instruments rise and hit for a riser between certain parts of the song I'll let you hear that and I also use the native instrument instrument called action strikes to give the chorus a little bigger hit that's pretty much the breakdown of the beat if you have any questions leave them in the comments below if you liked this video hit the like button and subscribe keep making the music that you love and I will see you guys later.
