Hi there：やあ、こんにちは。

Hi there ! は家族や友人、親しい間柄の同僚でも見知らぬ相手にでも気軽に使える挨拶のフレーズです。相手がいることに気付いた時に「やあ !」という感じで使えます。there には特に深い意味はなく、相手の注意を引くために使われます。Hi there ! を１つのセットで覚えましょう。Hello there も使われますが、Hi there のほうがよりカジュアルな響きです。答えるときには、Hi／ Hello／ Hey, what's up?　など色々な返し方があります。逆に Hi there !と言われて同じように Hi there ! の返答は、オウム返しのようで不自然なので使いません。
