Recycling in the ‘hood

Today was a regular recycling day for Kodomo Kai, which is the kids association of elementary school for people living in Uwamachi town. Normally kids would join in , but because of Covid-19 they don’t. We recycle newspapers, books, magazines, boxes, cardboard, cans, bottles, clothes and milk packs. People leave these things in front of their house, I ride in the back of a van and jump out to pick the items up and take them to a bigger truck. We do this every 2 months or so. Money raised from this goes to the town’s kids activities and sometimes parents drinking parties!! Although not recently
