Movie Info - Harry Potter is an average bespectacled eleven-year-old boy who has lived with the Dursley family ever since his parents died in a car crash. For some reason, the family has always mistreated him. On his eleventh birthday, a giant man named Rubeus Hagrid (Robbie Coltrane) hands him a letter telling him that he has been accepted as a student at the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. I remeber being a kid in middle school and seeing this trailer on the VHS for Atlantis. I was so excited I nearly cried. What Harry should've done was put the first Hogwarts letter in his pocket and then read it in the cupboard. WARNING! turn the volume down. as the mandrakes cries is fatal to anyone who hears it on full volume in your earphones. as there is no auditory protection. This is easily one of the best and most memorable movie scenes I've ever seen in my life. This is a classic.
