「九年庵」佐賀県

明治時代に佐賀県福岡県などに銀行・生命保険会社・水力発電会社・鉄道会社を設立した実業家・伊丹弥太郎が営んだ茶室と日本庭園です。九年間かけて造営したことからその名前がつきました。本来「九年庵」と呼ばれた茶室はすでに解体されそこには存在しませんが、数寄屋で建てられた別邸とその茶室が残されています。名前にちなんで春と秋に９日間だけ一般に公開されます。国の名勝に指定されています。

“kunen-an" Saga-pref.

"Kunen-an" is a tea room and a Japanese garden built by Yataro Itami, a businessman who founded banks, hydroelectric power companies and railway companies in Saga prefecture and Fukuoka prefecture in the Meiji era. Because it was built over nine years, it got the name of "Kunen-an" (villa 9 years). This garden of Beira is a tea garden "Roji" for tea houses. The tea room was made in style "Sukiya" of the tea ceremony. Like the name of the villa, it is open to the public only for nine days in spring and autumn.
