I understand what people were expecting and have been anticipating for with this movie. Honestly I have my standards very low for the horror genre as it is littered with cash cows and awful sequels.
This movie isn't one of them. It kept the premise simple and story simple. It continued where the first movie left off. No, stupid philosophy or background. This man wants to kill and that's all he lives for. If people were disappointed or wanted a deeper movie than what they received. I understand. At most I had a few issues when it came to one of the kills. Other than that, this movie isn't insulting to the audience like Covenant and it isn't insulting to its legacy like Predator (2018.
The movie knows what it is and as opposed to being something more. It sticks to its guns and it delivers.
