But the true price of admission is Ledger's feckless, gleefully anarchic virtuoso turn as The Joker, with his sloppily slathered on greasepaint and odd Chicagoan accent (it sounds eerily like Dan Aykroyd in "DR. Coz for me Dark Knight was finally a trilogy abt superhero with actual substance, where its not only abt fights, just ppl in masks punching each other&visual effects, plus maybe some simple, primitive background story abt boy who ' wanted to save the city. but instead, Nolan's version was finally epic tale abt moral choices, tragic fate, true heroism of a man but also our weaknesses, and about evil personified in Joker- evil which very often is just trivial, but still destructive as great Michael Caine/Alfred says. Some men just want to watch the world burn. I can go on&on. Dark Knight will always be the best superhero movie&Bale the best Batman, I respect different opinion, but like majority who saw the movie, I dont agree.
