an history of mutation / ‘TheOrem’ is the occasion to renegotiate the division of species, in the Anthropocene age, to re-valuate a Social and Natural Contract, between our daemons, line of subjectivities, question of ecosophy, post-human nature and scientific ‘truth and mysticism’.
Mika opened a Chaosmose (Guattari – an Ethico-aesthetic Paradigm).
The strata she manipulates announce her own erasing, intellectually (as Rauschenberg) and physically (extinct archaic human Neanderthalensis, Denisovans, Homo Ergaster, Naledi, Erectus…).
She questioned our ‘’No’’ Future, in a counting down, with only primary numbers, not dividable, to reach the shrinking void, the ZERO… for a system reboot…the line of escape from the Homo Sapiens branch… after 300,000 years of expansion, colonization, cultural spoliation, biotopes destruction, barbaria and genocides, and patriarchal hoax, …. A listing of trauma supposed to sweat from his pretending 1,400 cc of mental abstraction and brain volume…
In the accelerationism zeitgeist at a time machinist, epigenetic, biogenetic, Mika’s erasing is stretched in an entropic reversed movement, crossing in a retro activism the unfold cartographies of knowledge, degrowth heterogeneities, dismembered facts and bodies in order to reweave primary relationship, to caress an archaic ontology, from a system which combines logic/illogic, mathematic and gender copulating with greed and consciences, in the cracks between sciences and subjective substances, line of escape, nightmares, chimera, shadows, multiple voices, psychotic disorder and souls…self-fulfilling violence and hope...
Welcome in this heterotopic promenade in a de-hierarchized system of value, an Asian-NOfuturism, a temptation to erase the official model of representation, from an eschatologist point of view… last message, from her collapsing mad political claim.
Mika used her existing format in her previous exhibition, the BLUE skin, BLUE painting, to work with a layering strategy, to reveal the historical layer of the Cartel agenda, erasing by the way the phantasm of minimal virginal white cube, and its obsessive reset at each new show. This additive display erased the “cliché” of ‘tabula rasa’, and allows her to reveal politically through the work 'Layers' the political and aesthetic deception of the mechanisms and formats of contemporary art.
