平戸の庭①「内野家の庭園」長崎県・Hirado Garden①”Uchino Residence Garden" Nagasaki-pref

大正15年(1926)の建築に面して作られた庭。山の斜面を利用し多くの平戸つつじ、梅、山桜、蘇鉄、モミジ、椿、イヌ槇、サツキ等で植栽し立体的な設え。庭園様式は枯山水。平庭部にシンプルな枯滝石組みがあり中島をもつ枯池に石橋が架かる。どの部屋からも庭を眺められるような工夫がなされている。 防風林の役割を果たす古木のハルサザンカとイヌマキの生垣が邸を取り囲み野田藤を絡ませ滝のように花を咲かせる設えは見事。

普段は非公開。毎年４月末の土日の二日間だけ開催されるイベント「平戸お庭めぐり」で公開される年がある。

It is a natural garden using a mountain slope, and is planted with many Hirado azaleas, plums, Japanese cherry blossoms, Cycas revoluta, maples, mulberry, Podocarpus macrophyllus, small azaleas, etc.

The garden is in the Karesansui style, with a stone bridge over a dry pond with an island.

It is usually kept private and may be released at the event "Hirado Garden Tour" held every year at the end of April.
