When I first watched the movie, the part that cemented it as an unintentional award-winning comedy was the part where the elders jump off the cliff. Imagine that you're an old boi in this society. You've probably seen many elders commit suicide off that cliff throughout your life there (which is the dumbest way to ease elders into death, but whatever. You've also probably seen what happens when the suicide leap doesn't do the job, and witnessed The Mallet splat some brains, scarring you for life. Then, when it's your time to go, do you gently swan-diving into a mercifully quick head-splatter on the rocks below? NOPE! You go fucking feet-first like an idiot and act surprised when you only break your legs off and get The Mallet treatment instead. Absolutely hilarious.

Florence Pugh deserves far more recognition that what she got for her performance in this movie. She was amazing. I fell in love with her character in a twisted way after the trauma scene, and by the end I was happy she found peace, despite the fuck up happening everywere else in that moment. Midsommar trailer. I remember the day i seen midsommar in the cinema, id earlier that day had the final goodbye to my ex which was obviously very emotional. and when i later left the cinema i literally had no emotion left in me, very weird experience to say the least.

The movie felt too real, the acting was too real, i dont even know how i feel about the ending, but i didnt hate it. Midsommar: The horror movie where the black guy is not the first to die. I cant believe you see the boyfriend as shitty here especially when you say its his fault he ends up being burned alive when she decided to do so after she thought he cheated on her WHEN THE DUDE WAS PUT UNDER THE INFLUENCE AND RAPED AGAINST HIS WILL! This shows the cult dont actually care about anyone-they care about their beliefs and agenda-manipulating a person to get the response out of the protagonist that they wanted MAKING HER VICTIM BLAME HER BOYFRIEND FOR BEING MANIPULATED ALL THE SAME! They make the boyfriend pay the price cause they wanted her to get rid of anyone they didnt deem worthy. The last part of this film scared me and pissed me off-scared me to think i could be raped and then have no say for my defence and be killed for the sake of a cults selfish desires-what pisses me off is people forgetting about him being raped OR EVEN BEING OK WITH IT. I guaran-fucking-tee you-switch the roles of boyfriend and girlfriend and everybody would bash this film for victim blaming a woman being drugged and raped for the sake of a man getting closure-yet the girl here is applauded for freeing herself of a man THAT WASNT WILLINGLY CHEATING ON HER.

I kinda feel sorry for Christian though. Yeah, he wasn't perfect, bit did he truly deserve death because he didn't love someone. While I disagree with most of your points, it was really entertaining to listen to. I don't think Dani and the cult needed to be directly related because that's not what the film is even about. The cult knew her trauma, broke her down and seduced her, which is exactly what cults do. That was why Pele kept spending time with her, and why they coerced Christian. They wanted her, because she's a perfect candidate for a cult. Still, very funny video dude. Love your channel.

Midsomer mysteries. Wait, someone having an allergy that is important to the movie is a cliché. Midsomer murders the ghost of causton abbey. I'm so curious about what the hell happened to the girl in the thumbnail. I can't wait to see this movie. Hey, now I can excuse going to rewatch the movie back when it came out at a midnight director's cut screening. I still think that most of the content added in the director's cut is kinda superfluous or messes with the timing of the film, but the specific Nazi reference from the extended drive sequence can be justified with this kind of reading. I personally felt on edge the whole way through the movie, though perhaps rural, all white, too nice communities are more easy to be suspicious of if you're not white.

I just watched this, and I'm not sure if it's true, but out of Pelle's American friend group, Dani's the only one to say his name properly, pronouncing it with the second syllable, when the others call him just Pell. Maybe I overlooked it (I was only half-paying attention) but I thought it was very sweet of her to make sure she said his name properly. She also made sure to pronounce Ingemar's name properly when they were introduced. Musical chairs would have been quicker. Ahh stop showing these scenes from Hereditary. Its like traumatic ptsd flashbacks. Why is Christian attractive and unattractive at the same time? his face confuses me.
