Seasoning flesh with fear is akin to adenochrome harvesting for drugs. That is probably the bigger message. Didn't they remember everything after they killed IT In the movie they remembered everything after IT was gone for good.

I don't like writing reviews in English, since it's not my native language but a review to this movie must be. First of all, I'm an admirer of the book and the 1990 movie, starring Tim Curry, especially the 1st part where they are children. But although I read a lot of bad reviews, I decided to give the new "IT" a chance and went to the cinema yesterday.
I was so disappointed. br> I won't write a lot, since I don't want to spoil, but it started at the beginning, when Georgie was crawling away with a missing arm. br> And: a Clown doesn't get scarier, with more and more pointy teeth.
So: admirers of the book and the 1st movie, don't waste your time.
But there's still one chance: since the 1990s 2nd part wasn't as good as the 1st, they could do a better job here - let's wait and see and read the reviews first, before wasting money in the cinema.
Just my opinion.

Can someone tell me how to stop this talking lady. STEPHEN HORROR KING MOVIE. Just saying number 7 and 2 should be switched... "IT" was the worst Horror movie I have seen so far. It reminded me more of a film with the three question marks, as the main characters are children with bicycles and flashlights that want to chase the monster or the clown out of the city. The story as well as many scenes make no sense at all. In addition, many scenes can be anticipated in advance. So all in the cinema (in Germany) were disappointed by the movie tonight. I think for people who know the old movie, the remake is a nice movie that tells the old movie in a new way. For all the others the movie is unfortunately only a big disappointment. I strongly advise not to watch this film. For me it was waste of money and time.

Bruh pennywise would transform into a plastic straw if the victim was a vsco girl. Almost as scary as the SNL version with Kellyanne. PennyWise teeths are like toothpicks 😂😂😂... There are some brilliant moments in this. I'm not going to add any spoliers. It's a film we enjoyed a lot. It wasn't as good as the previous 'original' but that out the way it is scary in parts.

The original cannot be beat, and Tim Curry was, as expected, not beat. The original just has that funny+creepy touch this one can't live up to, and the costume is not satisfying. I tried but was unable to dive into the world itself and become that kid. The original managed to bring me in that way.
It was good of course. The actors did well, nice cinematography, Bill did well (and the ending is better than the original) but it just didn't haunt me as the original did. He didn't look and perform as creepy, even though he was creepy. I just got the feeling of a typical modern horror movie, which has its flaws.
Definitely worth a cinematic watch. Do not let this horror movie slip through and end up on a small computer screen. One of the better horror movies of the decade. The next movie: Pennywise Vs Teenage mutant ninja turtle.
