Not what I usually watch but this looks great. This new high-budgeted Tremors movie looks amazing! I am pretty disappointed that. Thanos, Batista, Aquaman. all of them in one single movie? These is our last chance against 2020. Delayed to 2021. Damn.

Thats crazy but take down cuties

There are so many reasons NOT to compare the protests in 1968 to the current violence of today. In 1968, we did NOT burn down cities, destroy and loot businesses, attack innocent by-standers or kill police. We had leaders with a purpose - the END the Vietnam War, fight FOR civil rights for ALL Americans. Yes, the police acted horribly in Chicago, on the Kent State campus, BUT these were all PEACEFUL legal and constitutionally protected protests - not the wild violent anarchy we've seen today that has no leaders, no goals except destruction and won't accomplish anything except create more violence and bloodshed.

It's scary (and almost funny) how many patella there are between the 1960s depicted in this film and our modern political/social climate, and Sorkin captures the era well. The film is frustrating much like the trial itself, but we really only learn about Abdul-Mateen and Gordon-Levitt as characters. Cohen is great, too. Wish I got more out of this, but it's a quality watch in a meh year. One line with a Boston accent and he BLEW IT! I wonder how the left plans on rewriting history on this one. when they never would have to. STEAL THIS MOVIE is a winner about Abbie Hoffman. Vincent D'Onfrio was spectacular. So. Same old, same old hey 'Merica. 😩. Netflix making this into a docuseries where they make these guys like heroes will bring more idiotic chaos to america when we need the complete opposite.

Im a true fan of the original Dune but I have to say this looks promising. Yeah, it's bad news, but I'm glad they pushed back the release instead of going the Mulan route like Disney. This movie is meant for the big screen, not tablets or smartphones. A successful release will pave the way for sequels. Bobby Seal shouldve been able to defend himself. The counter continued to create a narrative that seal wanted to implement violence. In all honesty, the trial was not necessary and shouldve focused on the 8 police that was put on trial for police brutality. It is evidently common in the 60s, that black people werent given a fair trial and were supplied lousy lawyers by the court.

Aaron Sorkin's second feature gives us a spectacular film that is bound to be up for numerous awards. The movie starts slows but as it gains momentum the drama becomes more intriguing and exciting. Before going into a Sorkin movie you expect great dialogue but that does not make it any less impressive. The movie really shines when the trial is cut together with scenes from the streets of Chicago. The entire ensemble cast shines as more of their character is revealed as the story goes on. Overall the film packs the punch with political messaging needed in the divisive time of today. It is another great achievement for the esteemed writer.

I was a 16 yr old hippie and followed the trial closely. I met Rennie Davis at Dupont Circle in DC, shortly after the trial. Lovely guy. We shook hands. The trial fired up my already anti-authoritarian leanings which have stayed with me all along. I'm 68 now.

The Trial of Chiacgo 7 has Best Picture material written all over.

This is a idiotic comment to make. When he suggests the judge allowe Himself to become a target. When someone is shooting at you you have very little choice if you're a target or not. Please people were attacking the Justice system. He was a judge in that same system. I'm sure they attacked the jury and the prosecutors as well. Today are and are kiss demand we eliminate all jails and prisons. This kind of idiotic insanity will bear the same kind of fruit. At that point I will leave whatever is left of this country.

Who is here after reading the novel...

After reading Dune Messiah it could easily be the 3rd film if the franchise is successful.
