日本のバイオマス発電所稼働数は急増へ

日本国内の木質バイオマス発電所は、年内にも100件を超える状況で発電規模は173万kW以上と言われています。
バイオマス燃料としての、PKSや木質ペレットの年間必要量は、年間2000万トンを超える量を必要とされます。内需の1500万トンを差し引いて、500万トン以上は海外からの輸入が必要と言われています。
The situation in Japan is that over 100 woody biomass power plants will be operated by the end of this year, and the scale of power generation will size up to 1.73 million kW or more.
Therefore, the annual requirement for PKS and wood pellets as biomass fuel will become over 20 million tons per year.
After deducting 15 million tons produced by domestic suppliers, it will approach more than 5 million tons that need to be imported from overseas.
