I chose it after reading the comments and they seemed the most suitable for a beginner like me. The illustrations are very pretty and the book accompanying the cards gives good guidance. I decided to try card reading after reading about it in a book called Living Magically, which I am reading at this moment. I hope to obtain a lot of answers. I have to say that I tried to get some answers using the book itself and the two I got were quite striking. According to the book you can even use a dictionary or any book at all, as well as cards. Some people seem to have had problems separating the cards (maybe a message for them there?) but I have to say that I didn't have any. A few were glued together but if you move them around they do separate quite easily.So far so good and I can advise these cards to anyone. Not having any knowledge of Tarot cards I have no idea why these cards are more gentle but I suppose they are referring to the messages contained in the cards. Again, I am a complete novice, so I don't know.Update - After having read one card every day during a very difficult period I have changed my mind about these cards and to be honest I should maybe not even give them the 3 stars. Take today, for exemple.... my life is in a complete mess, soon I won't have a roof over my head but I drew the Four of Action card that says that my sincere efforts lead you to a sense of safety, contentment and financial security. You deserve to take a break and enjoy the magnificente life you have created. What an incredible achievement. Your hard work has paid off, now you can take time and enjoy. Sorry... but this seems like a mockery. First I was very happy that the cards were so positive but little by little I started to see that if life is not made only out of success how could the cards be right? Ok, it pays to stay positive but these cards just won't work. Take a person suffering from a life threatening illness who uses these cards, won't they feel the same way I do? I would prefer to have bought cards that would help you stay positive but in a more truthful way. This way I am afraid that all the abundance will be mainly perceived by the people behind these cards!Another update - I have decided to review my comment once again. Maybe I was a bit harsh with the last update. It is true that if you only get positive thoughts from the cards and positive outcomes maybe at times they feel a bit fake but the truth is that they have given me inspiration through very tough times in my life so I decided to up my rating to four stars. Sorry, it is not my habit to review my comments over and over again but I thought that I needed to do it in this case. I am new to cards so I have no idea what one can expect from them normally speaking! In the meanwhile I bought another set but these are the ones I use on a daily basis.
