サザエさん家｜Sazae-san's house ｜ 2020/12/07

ツマとムスメが産後ケア施設に泊まった。産後の休息や育児相談が目的で、病院や助産院がやっている。最初はホテル仕様でいかにもリラックスできそうな病院を選んでいたが、直前で助産院に変更した。一緒について行ったのだが、昭和のサザエさんの家のようだ。個室とはいえふすま一枚で仕切られているだけの畳６帖。ゆったりするのなら病院にすればよかったと後悔...。3日後に迎えに行ったが、ここにして本当に良かったという。ふすま一枚だから、呼ばなくても気配ですぐ様子を見に来てくれたり、スタッフの方々の暖かさが直に伝わってくる。久しぶりに毎晩10時間以上眠れたという。コロナで隔離されることが多かった中、こういうサザエさん家的な昭和感の方が本当の心と身体のリラックスが得られるのかもしれない。（絵と文：サカキテツ朗）

My wife and daughter stayed at a postnatal care facility. Hospitals and midwifery clinics provide postpartum rest and child-care consultation services. At first, she chose a hospital that seemed to be very relaxing with hotel atmosphere, but she changed to a midwifery hospital just before. I followed them together, but it looks like Sazae-san's house in the Showa era. Although it is a private room, there are 6 tatami mats that are only separated by a single piece of bran. I regret that they should have gone to the hospital that they must be relax. I picked them up three days later, and she said it was really good to be here. Since it is a piece of bran, nurse can come to see the situation immediately without calling her, and the warmth of the staff is directly transmitted. It's been a long time since she slept for more than 10 hours every night. While it was often isolated by the corona, this kind of Sazae-san-like Showa sensation may provide true relaxation of the mind and body.　-Text and illustration by Ted Sakaki
