All the action in every dream layer is perfect, the acting is flawless, the effects are timeless, still that is not what sticks into my mind. Its when Dom breaks into his loving wife's mind (safe) and spins the totem, planting a seed, a thought, an inception, trying to make Mal snap out of the limbo they've been stuck in or lived in for decades. Its so effective that what ever layer she is in she would always doubt the reality of her current world, hence Leo knows inception is not just plausible but highly dangerously possible.
For me Mal is the main char in spite of Marions limited screen time. I think her appearance is intoxicating and chemistry with Mr DiCaprio endless.
Hans Zimmer's "Time" during the last scene from the moment Cobb and Saito wakes up from limbo is just breathtaking.
