Basically lighter color, antique sole edge is more popular, but I like the combination of Ravello and dark sole edge.  It creates classical atmosphere and looks somewhat more formal.  Ravello color gives a casual taste but this dark sole makes a great contrast. 

I think I have been waiting for this model for quite a long time.  It was not a whole cut version but the first Ravello PTB I wanted to get was Leather Soul's 10-year anniversary model in 2014.  It was really stunning model and I sought for a while but couldn't get one in the end.

With some reason, Ravello cordovan models are rare, especially Ravello PTB.  That's probably because whole cut PTB requires a large flawless cordovan.  Anyway, this is a quite nice purchase at the end of 2020 and it became the first delivery in 2021.  I can hardly wait to break in such beautiful shoes.  ☺️
