They are immortal, but their immortality does not last forever. They dont know when that time will be, it just stops working all of a sudden. A fatal wound that always used to heal, will no longer heal and they will die after living for centuries. It must be torture for them, because although they have each other to love and be with, every time one of them dies, they know it could be that time they dont come back. All that Joe and Nicky can do when the other dies in front of their eyes, is wait, hope and pray that the man they love keeps on coming back, and they can remain together for a little longer.

Didn't read comics on which this is based on so my review is only based on the film.
This seems to be in same universe as 'The Man from the Earth' but totally opposite genre) but here its like John Wick is the immortal one. I always like such sci-fi topics and adding action to it takes it to high level and had high hopes considering the plot and starcast.
Theron was superb, no doubt about it, but others in her team were there only for showing attendance. The villain had no clear motive or power (except money) which also makes storyline weak as compared to the immortal team.
There were multiple plot holes, which makes the Movie weak and questions the direction.
Was very excited to watch this but got disappointed.
Considering this to be first in a series, giving 6 rating for acting and action sequences.
Hope if this goes for a sequel and Andy's oldest friend become the main antagonist then it will be fun to watch. (fingers crossed.

I have a link of this movie that easy to download. In the sequel I hope that they have more screentime. They would fight together, or so they thought I knew it was the black guy who was gonna die. It's always the black guy who gets it first. HA! so we know she is at least 6000 years old! Damn, that is basically the entirety of modern human civilization. Not gay, but I can appreciate and admire a love like that. Thanks Netflix for give me my wedding vows 😂.

When they got captured first I though they were gonna torture them to insanity like the lady in the lake. Thank godness it wasnt the case. Everybody: the narrator is awesome Me: Realizing the narrator is troy baker trying for a british accent. Well just as I was musing about how Netflix could expound on the Guard's background a bit (and Lyon too) they bless us with an explainer narrated by Troy Baker no less.

Who else was thinking that the photo is still in their recently deleted. I havent watched the it yet and now that I know that there is a gay couple in the movie. Its only made me love it even more. When we get this movies in kickass. Will there be a second part? THE OLD GUARD II.
