This is one of, if not the best documentary I have ever watched. Who would of ever thought that it could be possible to bond with an octopus but Craig Foster did. There were moments when my heart was racing and moments when I couldn't help but shed a tear.

I wish my teacher was an octopus 🚶🏼‍♂️🐙. Looks like my deck. Hands down the best nature documentary I have ever seen, from first to last minute. Increadible relationship between an octopus and a human. I am never going to eat an animal again in my life! Thank you Craig for telling this story! And I really do hope you win a lot of prices for this one. Cuttlefish: I can't afford new skins. It's so expensive. When he says he magician, the poor kids looking around like You mean I'm not super smart. Lol it would have made the show funny if at the end he said just kidding your kid is actually stupid. I enjoyed the video, however I feel the sea lions/seals and seabirds, plus even the sea weed, earned equal right to the film as the Great White. I found the bit about the sharks not liking the texture of humans interesting though. Very well worded documentary.

Hahahaha. Glad Im not the only one who noticed the lack of great whites in the this GREAT WHITE SHOW. One of the most touching things i've watched in my life. He wasn't just thanking him. He was transferring his powers to this man, who we later learn is Doctor Octopus. This is his origin story.

I stopped watching after seven seconds. This documentary just taught me a bit of secret of universe. I felt I moved forward by picto metre in resolving the riddle of universe. Thanks a lot... This film has had such an enchanting affect on me that I'm still spellbound, and left pondering, questioning and reflecting my own life, relationships and connection with nature. It's on my list of favorite films of all time. I've been reading a lot about how smart octopuses are, about their 9 brains, their complex nervous system but then you see it on screen and it multiplies how amazing they are! Cant say enough about how much you need to see this incredible work of natural art! I've long believed that we underestimate the intelligence of animals this is again proof we need to quit judging, especially how smart we think we are and how smart other creatures are. I see everyday that we dont know anything! Hats off to Netflix for allowing me to be part of this incredible journey.

Its such an amazing journey. Its joyful, tearful and so many lessons learned. The visuals are stunning. 💕.

As another reviewer wrote completely engrossing. At times I was on the edge of my seat. run! Beautiful cinematography. By the end I cared deeply about the little octopus without any anthropomorphization. A well spent 90 minutes.

Normal kids: What if there's monsters in my closet Intellectual kids.

Nah fam his name is mr Cuddlefish. He'll camoflauge his way to your room then give you cuddles.

AMAZING❤️🐙. Octopus: I guess this is. dramatic pause. Goodbye. Me and my friend got drunk and decided to watch this and we both cried like little babies. *spoiler alert I just got one question why didn't he stroke her one last time. That's the bit that got me. I guess him being there was enough. Still sobbing my eyes out 😭. I get so sad when I think about those incredible creaturs being killed and eaten. Great footage. Horrible storytelling. The protagonist stays purposely ambiguous about his past and somehow draws lessons that simply don't connect. At no point do you truly believe the "friendship" to be more than mere curisosity from the animal. It feels like watching someone's troubling hobby to get out of depression. Cringy experience.

“Instead if teaching them just let them know” lol. Tonight on Top Gear: I race a Bugatti against a helicopter, James crashes a Maserati and Hammond traps a cuttlefish in his living room. That was truly a beautiful moment between two diverse species. I certainly do believe that the octopus was thanking you by showing appreciation for your kindness. It's only those humans with a soulless sense of species superiority that would refuse to accept such a gesture as friendly and authentic.
