I made a handmade silver accessory during my time at home

Hello.

In Osaka, there is a state of emergency.

This is staff "a" who is enjoying spending time at home doing what I like to do.

The other day, I found Art Clay on a flea market and since I have been interested in it for several years, I bought it on this occasion.

And I started as soon as the package arrived. .. .. .. ..

I thought I wouldn't be able to make something beautiful from the beginning so

I made a snowflake mold ❄️ that came with it and a feather that seemed easy to make🪶

Art clay is also known as silver clay.

It is a combination of a fine powder of sterling silver and a binder that holds them together.

When heated with fire, the binder disappears and only sterling silver remains.

Since the binder disappears, it will be one size smaller after it is heated ,

so when making a ring, etc., you must take that into consideration in advance.

Since it is sterling silver (99.9%), the proportion of silver is higher than that of SV925,

Since it is softer than SV925, there is a possibility that cracks will occur if excessive stress is applied.

I want to enjoy it at home!

For those who make small accessories, figurines, and decorations

I think it's good 😘

Because it is silver clay, rather than silver,

it's really easy like playing with clay ☺️

When I tried to actually make it

it took a lot of time to shape it,

If you think it was the first time for me to make it, doesn't it look good? ?? I praised myself.

The kit also comes with a file, spatula, and brush,

so the final finish can be done only with what's included in the kit ✨

I tried to use the stove at home,

It has a safety device and cannot be heated over high heat for a long time.

Therefore I used a small gas burner for mountain climbing.

If the kit does not have a firing jar, or the stove is an IH type or has a safety lock,

you can buy a firing jar which is sold separately.

It is recommended to check the equipment at home before trying to make it 😉
