I've read the book and honestly, this is one of those rare cases where I prefer the movie over the book. The book very good and all, but the movie is spectacular.

Yeah why. Thank you. Pros grisly murder scenes some stylish camera work fitting sets and atmosphere some well directed action cons aside from Freeman, badly acted poorly scripted dialogue poorly depicted detective work poorly developed characters, especially Pitt and Paltrow nonsensical twist which begs us to care overall hollow and uninspired, and aside from the murder scenes the movie felt cobbled together without passion. for Fincher and genre fans, Zodiac and Mindhunter explore similar topics in much more realistically well-crafted and enjoyable ways.

She got to save her 'lamb' in the end. Loved the dialogues between Clarice and Lecter. 8:13 lol.

And Jodi Foster has been playing Clarice in every movie she has done ever since. What's the difference? Carrie(1976) compared to 'Stephen King's Carrie' would be great. CLASSIC. Yall need to do a “whats the difference” between Red Dragon (book) Manhunter, Red Dragon, and the Hannibal series. Yeah. That was. good. 😎. Who else was here cus of the thumbnail💦. If this movie had multiple POVs it would just be Heavy Rain 2.

Probably one of, if not the best, book adaptation to a movie I've seen. This movie will always remain one of my favorites to this day. Love jodie in it. This preview wouldnt make me want to watch the movie, I dont think. 3:13, hell yes I want to see that. Bring back Film School'd already. Hands down Rutger Hauer could have played that role too. I have this. I just realized this is the boss detective on MONK. Dr. Hahn you have patients, what are you doing in a well. The actor who played Buffalo Bill stated that getting into this role actually bothered him a lot, movies today are not even in the same league.
