One of my favorite scary movies is the original Invasion. It scares me every single time I watch it. You get this feeling of something sneaking up on you and a constant unease. The Worlds End always reminded of The Invasion of the Body Snatches. Like the fact how the waiters and waitresses are just standing there and doing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING like they don't really care what's going on.

The synopsis is that an alien takes over different human hosts just to fuck around and turning earth into his playground, or better said a sandbox since I believe it's actually inspired GTA videogame series. Weve been tricked, weve been backstabbed and weve been quite possibly, bamboozled. Another great vid Ryan 👏 I somehow missed the Witches despite loving Dahl as a kid, now I really want to read it! The book that disturbed me most as a kid was also my favourite: Beowulf by Charles Keeping. Keeping illustrated the book himself and those drawings haunted me for years 👻.

This is gonna be good. The cgi doesn't even bother me. And the voice of the mouse talking in the vent scene sounds EXACTLY like the chubby kid from the original. Also please don't forget the HEART of the story was his grandmother's love after the death of his parents ! Many kids can relate to the story and it looks fun. Also why all these witches got mouth scars. 🤔😯😬. Angelica Houston will always be THE grand high witch. How are the witches wearing those pointy shoes, tho. The witches are supposed to be old looking like grandmas. They take off the gloves wigs and shoes and turn ugly af. Why do these witches still look glam with no wigs? Tf. Nice use of crazy train song😂.

Seductive, nice, amusing. spells, a touching grandmother, a boy in special detective mission, delicate triumph of good guy and right special effects. Angelica Huston makes one of her best roles and entire atmosphere is full of Christmas flavor. axis - wise grandmother and her war against witches. so, pieces of a fairy tale. charming, warm, easy, with perfect tension moments and softy end. an adventure like childhood games. and a different Rowan Atkins. in fact, lights, masks, metamorphose and a brave heart who stopped a catastrophe in United Kingdom. and, the big secret - it is not only for children but a pretty lesson for each parent. because witches are not only fairy tales characters but, in same measure, shadows of reality.

Guys you know what? The witches deserve to get punished and that's what they get for torturing kids even the grand high witch too. “its YOUR turn” grandma was such a badass.

Man I feel like the 78' version is one of the most underrated horror movies ever. Next it will be Lil' Matilda. Sorry but why was this necessary, the original is awesome, and as much as I love Anne Hathaway but no one comes close to Anjelica Houston.
