I just finished the book and came across the trailer. I encourage you to read the book. It gets you emotionally connected! Cannot wait to see the film. The subject matter was extremely moving. It's beyond belief these things happened and it's good there a movies like this to remind us.
But as a movie I found the pacing was extremely slow and at times required patience to keep watching.
It need a lot more impetuous at various stages to do itself justice.
Actors performances all good, script also, just very slow plodding story telling.

Captain marvel Superman and Django? Im there. I saw this film when it was released in the theatre. Honestly, the movie didnt meet my admittedly high expectations (not bad, just not as strong as it could have been, in my opinion. Nonetheless, the story the films based on is an important one, and I would encourage you all to see the film if you havent already.

Looking at a river full of drowning people and not having any way of helping I feel every day looking at the legal system. That itty bitty trailer has moved me. Saw an advanced screening and it was such a good film. Rihanna intelligence is underrated, shes more than a musician, what a role model. I've read this book twice. Cried the first time. I will be there to watch this movie. Jesus this is gonna be tough. WHERE'S WALLACE AT. Bryan Stevenson is my hero. also Cory Bookers since he name drops him daily 🤗. I didn't know what to expect from this film and as I started to watch it at my local showcase cinema I wondered if I was going to enjoy it because it started a little slowly. But it took hold of me and filled me with emotions as I got more and more engrossed in it.
The likeness of the actors chosen compared to the actual true life characters is very well done and the acting superb.
One tip... if you go to see this at the cinema don't get up from your seat until all the credits are over because the film gives you a full update about each of the key characters and what happened to them.

Why did I cry just watching this trailer. Must see. OMG oscar baby i hear it coming and i cried watching this -cant wait to see it. The more she covers up the more sexy and beautiful she looks. I am a simple man, when I see Michael B Jordan I click. There are few films I have ever said "I will never forget this one." This impactful film is one of those. It covers relevant topics from America's past and present. It is thought provoking, insightful film about bigotry, race, education, our judicial system, the death penalty, prejudice, imprisonment, life in America for black people, perseverance, community, As a child of a holocaust survivor, I thought I understood so much about prejudice, persecution, and being violated. This is not fake news or merely reality TV. The is impeccably scripted and the acting is superb.
My only issue with the film is that the ratings are off. It deserves much higher ratings and should have come out before Jan 1 because it ought to be up for a number of Oscar nominations, including best film.

Cant wait for ww84 trailer. Who shouted out “Periodt?” I need him to keep his mouth shut. Yes Michael b Jordan and jamie foxx in the same movie 😌. Beyonce could never! Yup! I said what I said. So, Electro is accused of a crime and Killmonger is gonna represent him in court. Is he enlisting help from Captain Marvel. Its my dad sir he dont do nothing wrong * me* cries.

Damn that movie look like it's good! I want to see it. “Its not about me” - Im just a well known entertainment figure receiving an award at a televised event. Flaming Torch Captain Marvel and Electro in a Warner Bros Movie Love it. When I was a freshman at West Virginia University (2016) this was our required reading for the whole school, it was honestly life changing and helped me to choose my career path. Such a great book, I cannot wait to see this. Dope seeing a black man put his arm around the young brother and recognize that he got next.
