Lauren Ridloff 💖. This feels like it was written by our parents. telling us to turn the music down... Absolutely am so excited to finally get to see this movie December 4th on Amazon Prime. Love Riz Amed's previous work and cannot wait for this HONEST portrayal of his character's journey into an understanding that hearing loss can also be DEAF gain. Looking forward to stellar work by actor/interpreter, the extraordinary PAUL RACI and Broadway and Walking Dead superstar, Deaf actress Lauren Ridloff.

It's All Gone Pete Tong. It`s like a remake of It's all Gone Pete Tong from 2004. A fantastic british movie about a DJ in Ibiza with a superb soundtrack. That's a little bit satisfying. Riz Ahmed ❤. Now we are living in a world of muzzles, signifying silence. Even though I come from the time of Simon and Garfunkel and am not excatly a fan of Disturbed's music, he sings this in my opinion so humble and with respect to the original. I could be wrong but I think he has a very sensitive soul if you watch closely enough while he sings this. So I did put a like cause it deserves it. His vocal range is everything. haven't heard a man with his vocal range since freddie mercury. Zvuk metal hurlant. This looks good actually.

Such a cool new concept, definitely going to watch this

Zvuk metal gear solid. This is a great fan noise. Zvuk metal archives. Sounds great. I listen to this when my speakers break so i hear the real silence. 14 year old me was headbanging to Down With The Sickness. 24 year old me is shedding tears to The Sound of Silence. Thank you, Disturbed. Even if they had never written or recorded anything else this would be a classic. It has such meaning and expressiveness to the words and way he uses them. The Sound of Metal is definitely one of the top films this year and it has everything to do with the steak kar performances of the lead actor Riz Ahmed. With blond hair it's hard to even place him as a Pakistani playing the role. Ahmed is an intense actor and takes us into the world of a tormented drummer trying to come to terms with losing his hearing not long after overcoming addiction. This new battle takes him into an unfamiliar world where the sound design helps the audience feel what the protagonist must feel. This film selves into experimentation with the auditory experience of cinema. An absolute must-watch.

Pretty much title. If you take out the sound design and Riz Ahmed there is nothing special about this at all. However, those two things do elevate it above an average film and the ending is also super effective. The theatre reacted very strongly to that section, myself included. Relaxing? This is like steroid for my migraine. Just watch ITS ALL GONE PETE TONG instead, which this movie is straight up ripping off beat for beat.

Blacklist Ian Garvey episode hit different. Great song. Zvuk metal alchemist. Years, finally. Waiting for soooo long 😍.
