世界一美しいと称されるカンポ広場　Piazza del Campo ‒ most beautiful square in the world

イタリアのシエナに行った時、世界一美しいと称されるカンポ 広場に魅せられた。 半円形の広がりで、扇形に重なったように中心部に向かって 下がっていく。周囲は建物で囲まれ、その中心となる建物が エレガントなプッブリコ宮であり、100mを越すシンボリックな マンジャの塔もある。

I was attracted by what people say the greatest medieval square in the world“Piazza del Campo”in Siena. It is a semi-circular square where fan-shaped parts are pointed to the center. Surrounded by buildings, most notably, the elegant Palazzo Pubblico and 100m-long Torre del Mangia.
