March 3rd is Doll’s Day in Japan, which is a special traditional festival called Hinamatsuri.

On this day families celebrate their girls’ good health and happiness.

This is a beautiful and happy celebration, but now that we are living in a busy world today, I’m afraid that fewer and fewer families display this gorgeous set of seven platforms of hina-dolls.

Probably we miss this tradition and feel like visiting places where the dolls are displayed 

at this time of the year, just like I did.

And our wish for our girls’ happiness and peace is the same as ever…..

wherever there are.

ひな祭り

3月3日はひな祭り。女の子の健康と幸福を祝う日。

忙しい時代になって、こんな豪華な7段雛人形を飾る家も少なくなってきているとは思いますが。

でもこの時期、この伝統の雛人形を見ることができる場所に出かけたくなるのは

わたしだけでしょうか…

そして

娘たちの幸せや平安を願う気持ちはいつの時代も変わりません…………

その子たちがどこに居ても。
