Acting is insane! Story is brilliant. No doubt this is my favourite film by far.

I couldn't find a negative thing about this movie.
It's bold and brilliant. Joaquin Phoenix gives one of the best performances I have ever seen.
You have to go and see this. The only reason it has negative reviews is because some people were expecting another superhero movie with action - thank god it's not.
Let's ignore the phenomenal acting, directing, script, filmography, special effects etc... You could read about those elements anywhere else.
People hate or worship the Joker movie for the same reason, on its superficial level, it glorifies the madmen, the lost, the pillars of capitalism that went astray and as a viewer you might do the same, asking yourself, should I hate the Batman now? No, you are not crazy.
It seems that due to non-biological, cultural-related life circumstances, the only way that Arthur Fleck could fulfill himself is to become the Joker, a title that is a part of the movie's strongest underlying, Arthur didn't choose his destiny or his new name and identity, society's strongest did and it seems like there are many people like him or at least people that identify with him as seen in the street of Gotham in the last hour of the movie.
I will watch this movie as many times as I watched Pulp Fiction, maybe more, and to think that there is only one significant character in it ( OK maybe De Niro's character is important, but they are all important.
