I’m running late：遅れそう

⏩ late は「遅れる」ですが、run late だと「遅れそう」という意味で、約束している場所に時間内に行けるかどうか分からないというニュアンスになります。

directions ～ は「～への道順などの説明」なので、「～までの道順を教えてくれてありがとう」とか「～の場所を教えてくれてありがとう」となります。
