英国の彫り vs 日本の彫り。 British Engraving vs Japanese Engraving.

シンコーストゥディオ世田谷ショップにて、エングレーバーのクラフトマンの2人、イギリス人Castro Smithと日本人宮本輝美によるデモンストレーションイベントが開催されました。

今日は報道関係者向け。

11月20日（日）PM2:00〜お客様向けに開催されます。

Castroは、いつも通りのリラックスした感じで「Terumi,don't worry!」と言っていましたが、私はアイムナーバスでした…（笑）

相変わらず、人前で彫るのは慣れません。

でも、とても楽しかったです！

日本の和彫りの良さ・洋彫りとの違いを知って頂ける良い機会になったと思います。

また、私自身が日本人のアイデンティティについて改めて考えるきっかけにもなりました。

このイベントを機に、次へと繋がるよう私も頑張ります！！

彫りは本当に奥が深いです！！

At the Shinko Studio Setagaya shop, a demonstration event was held by two engraver craftsmen, British Castro Smith and Japanese Miyamoto Terumi.

Castro was saying "Terumi, do not worry!" As usual relaxed feeling, but I was nervous ...

I still do not get used to engraving in public.

But I was very happy!

I think that it became a good opportunity to know the merit of Japanese engraving and the difference between Japanese engraving and British engraving.

I was forced to think about the identity as a Japanese.

Taking this event, I will do my best to connect to the next!
