葛飾区では平成12年(2000年)に船着場条例が施行され、区内に5つの船着き場が設置されました。緊急用船着場は、大規模震災時に、復旧や救援物資の運搬、傷病者や医療関係者の搬送等にて活用されます。また、認知度向上のため常時の利用促進を図り、舟運の活性化を図るため事業者等及び一般利用者を対象として船着場が開放されています。

Katsushika City enforces the docking ordinance in 2000 (Heisei 12), and five docs are set up in the city. The emergency docks are used for recovery in the large-scale disaster, for transportation of relief supplies, injured people and medical professional, etc. In addition, it opens their regular use for business operators and general users in order to raise recognition.
