Easy care with baking soda! Let's clean the silver ring ✨

2021.06.07 02:00

Hello everyone 😃

I"m studying English these days with an app that uses both English and Italian.

I'm solving a quiz, but the correct answer rate in Italian is much higher than in English,

This is staff "a" who will probably be giving up English soon.

However, as for Italian, I can only understand simple words.

Today I will teach you how to easily care for the silver ring ✨

(This method can also be used for gold 🙆‍♀️)

Platinum does not oxidize, so you can keep its beauty forever.

The silver ring reacts to the components in the air and darkens over time.

As for gold, the color does not change over time but rather it will look like there is a film on the surface  and the appearance will seem dull.

That silver changes color over time is one aspect of silver and some people like the change in color.

Such colors are sometimes called antique styles.

But I want to keep the color of silver forever!

There are also people who say that.

Even if you want to keep the color

I can't clean it often and it might be a little troublesome ...

Baking soda (tansan / calf powder / baking soda) is recommended for such people.

You don't have to go to a specialty store as it's also sold at 100-yen shops.

You can buy it easily 👜

What to prepare

・ Silver products that you want to clean

・ baking soda

・ Aluminum foil

・ hot water

・ Heat-resistant container (Mug, etc. is OK)

[Let ’s start cleaning]

1) Put about 1 heap of aluminum foil and baking soda in a spoon in a heat-resistant container.

You can lay aluminum foil on the bottom, or roll it up and put it in.

2) Put the silver accessory you want to remove the dark color in the heat-resistant container.

3) Pour boiling water into the heat-resistant container

4) Wait for a while as carbonic acid is generated.

5) Remove the accessory from the heat-resistant container

It's hot when you take it out, so use chopsticks or tweezers,

Please throw away the hot water in the heat-resistant container before taking it out.

Shiny ✨

6) If you are worried about the fine darkening still left,

Make a paste of baking soda dissolved in water and use a soft cloth and

polish the areas you are concerned about.

Shiny and glittering✨

how is it?

Isn't it easy?

If you are worried about the darkening in the Zara Zara pattern,

If you add baking soda directly onto the pattern and polish it, it will become beautiful 😊

Please see the video uploaded to IGTV on instagram.

Also, if you don't wear it often, see to it that it doesnt come in touch with air.

If you store it in a zipper bag,

you can suppress the darkening ☺️

Add a desiccant for even better result!

Not just baking soda,

bu items such as silver cloth and polish are generally available on the market.

You can also find it online, at home improvement stores, Tokyu Hands shop, Lofts shop, and more!
