コロラドのマッカロン夫妻から捕手前の稽古ビデオが届いた。スコットさんから柔道の稽古で、右肩の軟骨を痛めて手術が必要との第一報を頂いたが、その後、医師から手術を避け、コルチゾン注射で自然治癒する方法に切り替えたとの第二報と共に奥さんと稽古を始めるとの連絡があった。嬉しい知らせに、無理せず楽しんでくださいと返信した。
