I went to Daichi Chaya

I went to the Daichi teahouse that was just opened for lunch the other day

I saw it on Instagram from the stage of remodeling an old private house and making the interior of the store, and I was interested from the beginning, so I went immediately after it opened.

The place is about 5 minutes on foot from itoaware.

The menu include meals such as sandwiches and omelet rice, sweets such as cakes, and a variety of drink menus such as colorful cream soda, so you can take a break at lunch or take a break at the cafe during your walk (* ^^ *)

I enjoyed tonka bean white roll cake and almond latte

I like almond latte very much, but I rarely see it in shops, so the moment I find it on the menu, the drink is promptly selected.

When I was wondering whether to have cake or omelet rice, I heard the waitress' words, "Today's recommendation is a white roll cake of tonka beans," and decided on a roll cake.

I heard the name Tonka beans and the name White roll cake for the first time, so when I asked the clerk what kind of food it was when ordering, she politely told me that it was a slightly chewy roll cake with a flavor like almond tofu. 

Almond latte is modest in sweetness. A cute sugar pot was also brought to your table so you can add it to your liking.

As the waitress told me, the tonka bean roll cake was a very delicious roll cake with a slightly chewy texture and gentle sweetness.

When I asked about the recommended menu on my way out, she said that the Daichi Chaya sandwich was recommended.

Both the shop and the waitress were very nice, so why not stop by Daichi Teahouse when you come to Nakazakicho?
