結局何をしたの？

Hi everybody!

There are two ways to say 「結局何をしたの？」 in English:

So what did you wind up doing?

and…

So what did you end up doing?

Here is the simple pattern: end up/wind up + 動詞ing

文書にしたら・・・

I ended up just staying home.

I wound up just staying home. (←”Wind” の過去形は “wound” です。)

We ended up falling in love.

We wound up falling in love. (結局恋に落ちてしまいました。)
