It's fine, I saw the original when I was a kid and still. I turned out to be a very powerful and kind hearted witch. So Hollywood ain't got shit on manipulation anymore. I watch this when Mr. Beans kills Grand High Witch in the end. I bet theres another grand high witch in america. which is actually in the trailer of the witches 2020. hahahaha. Funny with defenders of remakes of films based on books is that they always go for the part where it is just another adaptation of the book and more faithful. In most cases, it's not another faithful adaptation but in fact a remake. Carrie a good example. They actually took scenes right of the 1976 film that were not in the novel. How was it a new adaptation of the novel when they blatantly copied scenes in the original movie that weren't in the novel.

They need to modernize the title and rename it to: Roald Dahl's The Karens. From the thumbnail I thought this was Hocus Pocus Anne would have been good in that this doesnt hit right. Anjelica Huston was awesome and so scary Annes put on accent takes away from the scariness of the character Edit: now really wanting a Hocus Pocus with Anne and Octavia as witches. NO, IS JUST LIKE THEY TRY TO DO A BLADE MOVIE REPLACING WESLEY SNIPES WITH A WHITE MAN. I thought its ducking real. The watches. The watches for men. The witches cast 1990. The witcher 2. The witches pdf. Young boy and his wily grandmother (a surprisingly comfortable and energetic Mai Zetterling) vacation at a seaside resort and soon discover it is beset by child-hating witches. The almost-improbable screen-teaming of director Nicolas Roeg, writer Roald Dahl and effects wizard/puppeteer Jim Henson results in a predictably garish, uneven, occasionally off-putting venture which may actually intrigue grown-ups more so than kids. Some intense and amusing sequences stand out, as does Anjelica Huston's performance as the leader of the witches. Remarkable effects, a very interesting and colorful attempt, but hurt overall by too many chefs and a flabby final reel. 1/2 from.

I grew up watching this movie. And at 34 years old it never gets old. I watched it with my children and they loved it. It is witty, funny and overall a feel good classic that I still enjoy all these years later. Are give us a hint that they will buy Warner Bros Or Just a mistake LOL 😂. This's so bad. the first one had a threatning vibe, this one is too much disney. I really wish the film industry didnt do away with makeup, costumes, animatronics, and physical props instead of just making everything with green screens and cgi. It looks very bad the very regular performances i prefer the original which is an icon and masterpiece. Producers: How are you going to make her a scary looking witch?
