ああー、辛い。「鼻からの胃カメラは口に比べて楽ですよー」と聞いていたのだが、あんな大きくて長いものが鼻から入るなんて！お医者さんから「途中で気分が悪くなったらやめることもできますから」と言われ、その２秒後にはギブアップ。人間ドックの胃の検査が今年からバリウムから胃カメラだけになったからだ。バリウムを飲むのも辛かったけど、それを軽く上回る。結局２週間後に麻酔を使った再検査となりなんとも気が重い。カプセル型のカメラが話題になった時は「ミクロ決死隊」の世界だなぁなんて思っていたけれど、早く普及して欲しいものだ。（絵と文：サカキテツ朗）

The doctor said, "If you feel sick on the way, you can quit," and two seconds later, I gave up. This is because the examination of the stomach of the annual check up has changed from barium to gastrocamera from this year. It was hard to drink barium, but it is much harder. After all, two weeks later, there will be a re-examination using anesthesia, and it is very daunting.
