理想と現実｜Ideal and Reality｜2021/09/24

瀬戸内海の大三島にやってきた。しまなみ海道にある島々の一つ。海が近く、山の緑が深く、ああー、自然にやってきたっていう感じだ。そこの一軒家に泊まった。家の中は８畳の畳の部屋が２つあって、リビングがある。綺麗にリノベーションされていて心地よい。庭には芝生が広がり、アウトドアの椅子やベンチやハンモックが置いてあり気持ちが良い。夕方からは近隣のスーパーで仕入れた魚や肉でバーベキューだ。ワインを飲みながらそろそろ火でもおこそうかと思ったら、グラスにテーブルは虫がよってきた。最初は手で払っていたけれど、そのうち島中の虫がおしよせてきたかのに次々と現れる。とうとう庭でのバーベキューは断念。部屋の中での夕食に。自然があれば虫もいるとはわかっているけど、なかなか難しいものだ。（絵と文：サカキテツ朗） 

I came to Omishima in the Seto Inland Sea. It is one of the islands on the Shimanami Kaido. The sea is near, the green of the mountains is deep, and it feels like it came naturally. I stayed at a house there. There are two 8 tatami rooms and a living room. It has been beautifully renovated and is comfortable. The lawn spreads out in the garden, and there are outdoor chairs, benches and hammocks, which makes me feel good. In the evening, we have a barbecue with fish and meat bought at a nearby supermarket. While drinking wine, I thought I'd start it on fire, but insects came to the table in the glass. At first, I got rid of them by hand, but then insects all over the island appeared one after another. Finally I gave up on having a barbecue in the garden. I got dinner in the room. I know that if there is nature, there will be insects.
