TRY TO + [動詞の原形]

Hi everybody! 

 Here is a useful phrase to help you speak English more smoothly:

try to + [動詞の原形] ([動詞]するようにする)

▼Here are some examples:

・This week I`m gonna try to make a new friend. (今週新しい友達を作るようにする。)

・Next year I`m gonna try to make more money. (来年もっと儲かるようにする。)

・Tomorrow morning I`m gonna try to wake up early. (明日の朝早く起きるようにする。)

過去形でしたら・・・

・I tried to call you but your line was busy. (電話してみたんですけど話中でした。)

・I tried to think of a funny example sentence for this blog but I couldn`t think of one. (インパクトのあるブログを書くために頑張って面白い例文を考えるようしましたが、ダメでした・・・(-。-;)
