This isn't a slasher with a sense of dark humor, a thriller with a charming cast, or even a satirical but respectful homage to a sort of horror. It's a spoof movie with one-note gags, a boring sense of humor, and very little tension, choosing to play almost nothing straight.
Some gratification may be found if you still have some teenager mentality and identify with the young and misunderstood protagonists surrounded by dim-witted peers and adults, but that's about it.

Whoever at Netflix was responsible for making this queens who watch a thing please give them the biggest raise because I cant tell you how many times Ive skipped over something on Netflix but their commentary makes me want to watch it and get in on the jokes 😂. Johns twerking at 3:43 was the best. This actually made me want to watch the show. On episode 5, Chris is wearing a Haus of Edwards shirt. King bach lowkey ruin movies. Didnt want bee to go and i thought she was gonna kill phoebe.
Melanies head exploded as the song went “Guaranteed to blow your mind”. “Im not even mad bro”. Say what you wanna say the best part is when they all die and the shirtless guy says you're a stud Cole im not even angry at you. Then proceeds to show respect as he slowly dies. I was so happy they gave John a lot more screen time in this one, he was very funny. Rewatching the first one knowing what's going to pan out and that it's different.
I cant believe Cole was the one being bullied in HighSchool. But yet he looks like he should be one of the popular guys. Need part 3.

Why? 😭 bring back The Society for season 2. 💔💔. Yes its back I loved the first one. I still don't get why this plan had to involve Melanie. She didn't have to be the bad guy did she. 1:28 he wasnt even scared.
