I bought the dsg. I love it. Most of the time. Sometimes I miss rowing my own like I did in my gti. But as a daily driver with traffic, That's right, if you want to buy a brand-new Golf R right now, I'm afraid it's DSG or nothing. VW claim that the reason they no longer offer a manual option isi wholly regret getting the golf r in manual over DSG. the manual box and clutch are built for the most base of base golfs (understandably)
