It feels so weird that all dialogues are in English and some terms are still from Chinese words, especially when you can tell from their accents that some actors/actresses can actually speak Chinese. But it will also feel weird in another way if everyone speaks “perfect” English in a Chinese culture based movie. Didnt mean anything bad about accents. Its normal but not in all cases.

So ive watched Mulan and despite being on the edge of my seat at the end, there are some weaknesses. Mainly in recognition of what her character does Her efforts in training aren't rewarded as she simply does it because of her special inner force. Even when she completes the training task a.k.a removing the arrow from the top of the tower in the cartoon (its different in the movie. The only people to notice are her fellow soldiers, her commander is absent.
Similarily in the battle scene later no one witnesses her basically make the enemy retreat all by herself. Yet somehow after this period of no one noticing her worth. They all conclude she is the best of them all and decide she should save the emperor. It makes you wonder if the director actually watched the orginal.
All this being said it was a rewardable viewing experience though its clearly been ovepriced by disney and ive yet to see a positive review based on this price point...
When Mulan says, I am Mulan, I will bring honor to us all. I think not only that she means to her family, but because in that time, women were just an object, or a reproducer. Just watch the movie and ENJOY... The king has many sons, why does it had to be him? So Jackie Chan's son is in this movie, cool! The way he ran down the stairs look like the way Jackie Chan would run. Like father like son haha.
⮚Mulan (2020. ᴡᴀᴛᴄʜ ɴᴏᴡ ▶. This is probably one of the worst Honest Trailers that I have ever seen. What gives? The only part that I personally found funny was the Coming Out parody of Reflection and it doesn't even make sense. I just don't get it. This felt really flat. I'm disappointed. Mulan enemy. A very linear storyline with a lack of excitement, a very bland experience overall. The acting was also very poor. Aww I wish Xi Jinping was here. Milan fashion week. Mulan movie download. She doesn't look like a guy at all. Yet she fools everyone into thinking she is. Lol only in the movies.
Sad Mushu and Cricket are not in this, but still looks to be fun to watch

In terms of positives, I really love the cinematography. They really make china look beautiful. I also love the lead as Mulan. Liu Yifei does a pretty great job portraying Mulan. But I really felt that this film apart from those positives was just kinda soulless. It was much longer than the first, so the pacing was alot slower and boring at times. The original really had a nice blend with comedy and drama.
The really expressive animation and catchy songs really elevated my enjoyment of that film. So watching this remake really made me love the original alot more. I think i recommend you watching the original film than this one if you want to have fun watching a Mulan film while also being engrossed in the gripping story.
