Today is Halloween!  This tradition is believed to be originated from Celtic harvest festivals or the vigil in Ireland to remember the dead.  

In Japan, regardless of the origin,  the Halloween celebration has become so popular.  We all love that pretty jack-O'-lantern and some people enjoy costumes of witches or ghosts.  I enjoy walking in the town full of Halloween ornaments and feel autumn.

今日はハローウィン。この伝統の起源は､ケルトの収穫祭とか、やはりケルトの地アイルランドの、死者を追悼する日だとされてます。

日本ではその起源がどうであれ、今やとても人気の行事になりました。私たちはあのかわいいジャックオーランタン（カボチャをくりぬいたランタン）が大好きだし、魔女やお化けの仮装を楽しむ人もいます。私も、ハローウィーンの飾りでいっぱいの街を歩iいて秋を感じるのが好きです。
