In what can be considered as a bizarre idea, Porsche offered a manual option with the 991 variant of the 911. That's great, but it was a 7-speed manual andI'm not against manual transmission, and in all but a few scenarios I prefer the concept over an automatic or semi-automatic contemporary. In fact, my own PDK is available as an option for all 911 Carrera and 991.1 Turbo (Non S) models as a 7-speed transmission, featuring manual and automatic modes.
