Garmin 601 manual

Hey all, I just picked up a Fortrex 601 to replace the 401 I have used for years. I was wondering if it's possible to load a detailed map onto it, and if so how do I do this? Also what is the "ultratac mode" and 1-year ?Garmin Foretrex 601 manual.
